About PetSure

Learn more about Australia’s only general insurer solely dedicated to pets.

As many people put pets at the centre of our lives, PetSure puts pets at the heart of our business.

PetSure is all about making the world a better place for pets and their people. We’re on a mission to reduce the worries that come with being a pet owner.

So, what’s our deal? We’re a pet health tech company and leading pet insurance administrator providing a sense of security to nearly half a million people across Australia and New Zealand. We’re not just any insurance company – we’re the first general insurer in Australia that’s solely dedicated to pets.

With the support of our partner network, everything we do champions the rights of pets, pet parents and vets.

We are proud to support pet parents in their time of need – PetSure pays out $1.2 million per day in veterinary cost reimbursements and helps cover the treatment cost of 4,000 pets per day. We also process a claim every 10 seconds.

At our core, is a dedicated team of passionate pet people who work hand-in-paw with veterinary teams to ensure the best possible health outcomes for pets.

Our underwriting expertise powers the pet insurance offerings of more than 25 companies, including some of Australia’s household names, such as Everyday Insurance, RSPCA, Petbarn, Guide Dogs, Medibank, Bupa, HCF and AA in New Zealand.

We assess over a million claims from across Australia and New Zealand each year.

Through our innovative payment solution – GapOnly®, we’re transforming the claims experience for pet parents. We know when your fur baby gets sick or injured, the last thing you want to worry about is whether you can afford treatment. With GapOnly® your pet insurance claim is reviewed and calculated while you’re still at the vet. Meaning, if you’re claim is approved, you simply pay the gap (the difference between the vet’s invoice and the claim benefit under your policy) and go. GapOnly® is available in more than 1,200 participating vet clinics and specialist hospitals across Australia, with more on the way.
